Southern Giants - Steam Gala Weekend
Our annual steam gala will feature locomotives from the home fleet, alongside some interesting giants of the Southern region!
Join us for three days of intensive steam action with the locomotives being put through their paces over some of the most challenging gradients in preservation.Two Southern Region "giants of steam" will be visiting, and operating alongside our home fleet of locomotives.
All trains will be running in conjunction with our fleet of Heritage buses, which will be operating between Ongar, North Weald, Epping Underground and Shenfield National Rail stations.
Our on train bars will be also be open, serving a selection of draught beers, as well as a range of wines, lagers and soft drinks.
As well as our busy two train service we hope to be able to provide Brake Van rides.
Fares
The following great value fares apply. Tickets allow unlimited travel all day on all our train and bus services.
In advance: Adult £28.50; Child £10; Family (2 adults and up to 3 children) £68
On the day: Adult £32; Child £10; Family (2 adults and up to 3 children) £75
Our stations will only be accessible to passengers holding a ticket valid on the train services
